What does a PhonePe UPI ID look like?
PhonePe UPI IDs typically end in @ybl (Yes Bank Limited) or @ibl, e.g. 9876543210@ybl. Find yours in the PhonePe app under Profile → My UPI IDs.
Can non-PhonePe users scan a PhonePe QR code?
Yes! This is a standard UPI QR code — not PhonePe-proprietary. Any UPI app (Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay) can scan it and send money to your PhonePe account.
Does PhonePe charge merchants for QR payments?
No MDR (Merchant Discount Rate) is charged on UPI payments in India as per RBI and NPCI guidelines. Zero-cost acceptance.
Can I set a fixed amount in the QR code?
Yes. Enter an amount in the optional field. PhonePe will show the pre-filled amount to the payer, who can confirm or modify before paying.
What is the payment limit per PhonePe UPI transaction?
The UPI transaction limit is ₹1,00,000 per transaction (set by NPCI). Individual banks may set lower limits. For amounts above ₹1 lakh, split into multiple transactions.
