What does a Paytm UPI ID look like?
Paytm UPI IDs typically end in @paytm, e.g. 9876543210@paytm or yourname@paytm. Find yours under Paytm → Profile → UPI Settings.
Is Paytm QR different from a Paytm Merchant QR?
Standard Paytm @paytm UPI IDs work for personal and informal merchant use. Paytm for Business provides a separate merchant QR with a dashboard, analytics, and settlement tracking.
Can Google Pay or PhonePe users pay to a Paytm QR?
Yes. Since this is a UPI QR, any UPI app can scan it — not just Paytm. All 500M+ UPI users in India can pay to your Paytm UPI ID.
Does Paytm charge for receiving UPI payments?
No MDR on UPI payments for merchants. Bank-to-bank UPI transfers are free. Paytm Wallet-to-Wallet transfers have different terms.
What if I have both a Paytm Wallet and a UPI ID?
Generate a QR for your UPI ID (@paytm) for maximum compatibility. Any UPI app can pay to your UPI ID. Paytm Wallet payments are limited to Paytm users.
